Insulation Rubber Sheet
Weprofab insulation rubber is a closed-cell and flexible elastomeric rubber. Making it ideal as insulation to prevent condensation on any heating equipment. The insulation function of these rubber products helps to conserve energy.
- Great protection against penetration of moisture
- Can gain or lose heat within a temperature range of -297°F to 220°F
- Both sides have a tough protective skin
- Made with antimicrobial protection
Your Reliable Insulation Rubber Sheet Manufacturer
Weprofab is an expert manufacturer in terms of insulation rubber sheets. We have a wide range of rubber materials for producing rubber insulation. These rubber products are commonly in 3ft x 4ft rectangular sheet shapes but can be also custom-made according to your specific size requirements.
We also support thickness and color customization of insulation rubber sheeting based on your needs.

Insulation Rubber Sheeting Application
Weprofab rubber sheet is widely used as insulation for:
- Large piping
- Ductwork
- Vessels
- Tanks
- Curved surfaces
- Irregular surfaces

Silicone foam rubber is known for its excellent thermal insulating characteristics. The silicone rubber sponge/foam is a blown material that makes their cells effectively deflect heat transfer.
Choose thickness from the operating temperature, ambient temperature, relative humidity and surface size, not from temperature range alone. As one published reference, K-FLEX recommends 1/2 inch for a 50°F flat surface at 85°F and 70% RH, but 3/4 inch at 35°F, 1 inch at 0°F and 1-1/2 inches at -20°F under the same normal condition. Send us your worst-case design values and surface geometry so we can calculate the approval thickness for your system.
Specify a tested water-vapor permeability together with the method and thickness. A commercial closed-cell NBR/PVC insulation sheet reports less than 0.01 perm-in by ASTM E96 dry-cup testing, which is a useful reference but not an automatic value for every compound. Ask us to report the ASTM E96 result for your offered grade and confirm whether outdoor jacketing or a separate vapor retarder is required at joints and penetrations.
A small open seam lets warm humid air reach the cold surface, so condensation can start even when the sheet itself has adequate thickness. K-FLEX installation guidance requires sealing seams, butt joints, termination points and open ends. On your drawing, identify valves, supports, elbows and cut edges, then use the compatible contact adhesive and close each joint without stretching the sheet. Inspect those details before commissioning because local gaps cannot be corrected by adding thickness elsewhere.
